Great course for the shot maker. You will use every club in the bag, often. Beautiful views abound. We played with the owner and he didn't even buy a round in the bar after. I guess that qualifies as a con. I guess he was a sore loser.

My favorite course in this area of Long Island. Can be difficult if you are not hitting straight, but usually in great shape and always a challenge. Found the greens and fairways in consistently good shape over the summer and fall. Pace is good with excellent staff and great price deal-money towards dinner at their steak house restaurant which is excellent. Makes the course a great deal and the day enjoyable. Would recommend highly.

The only real "negative" is that greens are rock hard and NOTORIOUSLY FAST. The Staff was AMAZING, across the board, 1st time I have EVER said that.

When we call for a tee time on a Sunday in mid-August we were never told that there was a temporary green & they had also just aeroated several of the greens. This made for an awful start to the round. Someone at the course should have informed us that maintenance was ongoing on a weekend!!! Next time I'll ask in advance & hope they tell me the truth.........

This is a public course that has a private feel. Beautifully manicured and some great views. The course has a top of the line restaurant and bar. The course offers a rate of 75 dollars after 2pm which comes with a 40 dollar voucher for the restaurant, its a very good deal
